Creative Writing
Art Angel has two creative writing groups, Thursday 10.30am-12.30pm and Friday 1-3pm.
These groups are open to anyone interested in writing in any form and no previous experience is necessary.
Both groups usually have a couple of exercises per session, based on prompts sent by our lead tutor the day before. These are fun, thought-provoking and witty ideas to get you started, but participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas.
We provide paper, pen, hot drinks and biscuits and a non-judgemental environment where mutual support and joined exploration are the main focus.
I can’t imagine my life without Art Angel. I tried so many other places before I found this. It’s a lifeline, staff listen to you and don’t judge you. It has kept me stable for ages.
